Dyarid Primary Vanguard

The Dyarid Primary Vanguard was an army assembled by the Premier and the Dyarid High Command. After the fall of the Wrath Empire, the Dyarid and the Chtzin warred for the power vacuum left behind. Admiral Salaron of the Primary Vanguard explained to Vienna Salvatori that they were at war with the Chtzin due to them being a brutal, warrior race, meaning that were they to control that vacuum, it would be devastating for the universe.

At the head of the Vanguard was the extremely powerful telepath Supreme Commander Jamela K'lynn, who was hired by Dyriad High Command directly. Worried that K'lynn was far too powerful, Admiral Salaron and a syndicate of like-minded people, raised money and placed a bounty on her head. This assignment was undertaken by Vienna Salvatori, who used a memory box to create the identity of Commander Arcadia Corinth. Despite this, K'lynn was able to see past this trickery and attempted to mentally torture Vienna. Vienna had expected this worst case scenario and allowed K'lynn to probe her mind and find her "psychic bomb", which resulted in the explosion of K'lynn's head.

This, however, was disadvantageous to the war as, unbeknowst to Vienna, K'lynn had been using the nodes placed around the Custodian to create a subliminal neural network to rival the Chtzin's very own hive mind. By killing K'lynn, Vienna had destroyed this neural network and weakened the team. Furthermore, Chtzin sleeper agent Ensign Roaig was now without mental protection. Thus, when the Chtzin attacked, the warp drive failed, sending the Custodian hurtling towards Hyspero's sun. Despite having the code to set the ship into warp after Lieutenant Paley had fixed it, Roaig was conditioned always to fail.

The ship attempted warp jump but was torn in two. Vienna managed to escape in an escape capsule and the Primary Vanguard was destroyed. (AUDIO: Dead Drop)
