Emergency Red was a level of alert used by the World Space Patrol.
In February 2065, after the news that Steve Zodiac had surrendered Fireball XL5 to the Batmen reached Space City, information obtained by TV Century 21 from a "usually reliable" source suggested that combat ships had been placed on Emergency Red. (PROSE: Fireball Surrenders!)
As reported on the front page of TV21 on 27 March 2065, based on a suggestion from Professor Logan to the World Security Council all air and land forces were put on Emergency Red alert after Jodrell Bank's Omega-Minus Detector Meter picked up evidence of the Omega-Minus device approaching Earth at high speed. (PROSE: Earth in Peril!)
