I am perplexed by a minor reverse-loophole in the system that I must take opposition towards.

There is a rule that states that .png files are allowed for images with transparent backgrounds (see: Help:Image_cheat_card).

But at the same time, images must be above 250px wide and below 100kb in size (the latter was blatantly a rule designed for .jpg images, again see Help:Image_cheat_card).

The problem is that it is very difficult to get a .png file to be above 250px wide while still being below 100kb in size. I currently have one image just teetering at 252px wide, and yet it is still 113kb in size. Thus, I can not upload it.

Which of these three rules should be followed? Shall we list an exception just for transparent .png images? Because the three can not co-exist.
