Jeff Johnson (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice) detected the Third Doctor's distress signal from Reegan's hideout. (TV: The Ambassadors of Death)
One later account says he and Liz Shaw went out together for a while. However, he left soon after the events involving Mars Probe 7 and became part of the regular army. (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice)
Another account says he stayed on with UNIT for a while. Both he and Private Ackland were ordered to guard a new alien computer UNIT had acquired from a crashed ship. While making tests on the computer the pair vanished without trace. Johnson was found by Liz Shaw 48 hours later, inside the machine, beaten up and dead. (AUDIO: Binary)
