Daimyo

In the 19th century, Daimyos were lords in Japan who ruled with almost absolute power in their own fief, but were ultimately subservient to the shogun and emperor. In the 1820s there were 260 daimyos in Japan. One daimyo during this time was Takagi Mamoru, who had the allegiance of multiple Daimyos against the Shogun Tokugawa Ienari , namely Genzo, Hiroki, Akito and Yochi.
