In 2006, following the event a week prior, Ricky was among those who responded when Henry van Statten asked the users of conspiracy website Who is Doctor Who? why they wanted to meet an alien, stating that he wanted to meet an alien so he could be friends with it and "not drill big flippin holes into it".
