Magda Goebbels

Magda Goebbels was the wife of Joseph Goebbels, with whom she had six children.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

By the end of the Second World War in 1945, she moved into the Berlin Führerbunker with her children to join her husband. A loyal Nazi, she had begged Adolf Hitler not to commit suicide and instead flee the city, believing that if he were to die, she and her family must follow his example. As he prepared to commit suicide, Magda forced her way through as a final resort to convince him otherwise, banging on the door to Hitler's rooms as Otto Gunsche attempted to hold her back.

Following Hitler's suicide, Magda and her husband murdered their six children, and then killed themselves. (PROSE: The Shadow in the Glass [+]Loading...["The Shadow in the Glass (novel)"])
