Evolution of The Invasion (documentary) was a documentary in which cast and crew recall the making of the Doctor Who story The Invasion.

Evolution takes a look at the making of the eight-episode epic, with interlinking narration from Frazer Hines, and memories of the serial being given from cast and crew members of the story.

Evolution covers the making of the serial and the problems it faced, memories of working with Patrick Troughton, shooting some of the problematic sequences, memories of the characters played by the surviving cast members, and the eventual 'junking' of the serial.
