He is a voice actor on many children's animated shows, and is also a puppeteer. He is perhaps best known for his prolific voice acting work on Thomas & Friends, Bob the Builder and Fireman Sam. Within live action work, he has worked in several children's shows for CBeebies, perhaps most notably as a main character in Justin's House. He has done puppeteering work on Muppet Treasure Island, Jurassic World Dominion and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.
He appeared alongside Ella Kenion in an episode of the children's gameshow Swashbuckle, and alongside Sophie Aldred and Bernard Cribbins in 2012 televised CBeebies pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, both times as his character from Justin's House.
