Prelude Theatre of War was, as the name suggested, a prelude to Theatre of War by Justin Richards. It did not appear in the published novel.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

At the Braxiatel Collection, Camarina Lannic discovers the location of the ruins of the Pentillanian Theatre on Menaxus. Elsewhere, the Heletian Empire conquers Gluvene, including Menaxus, and the Doctor decides to take Ace to a place where the sun is always setting.

Characters[[edit] | [edit source]]

Worldbuilding[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Doctor and Ace don't want to admit that they miss Benny.
  • Ace thinks the Doctor wants to take her to see the British Empire.
  • The Heletians are heading for Optron and Dosardus.

Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The story's pictures were illustrated by Phil Bevan.
