Notes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • As an abridged retelling, this version of the story removes and shortens several plot points, entirely omitting appearances by various characters and elements.

Deviations from televised story[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • The Spy Dalek is said to be "double-crossing" the Doctor, implying that, unlike the legitimate offer it made in the original television story, it had lured in the Doctor with lies about betraying its race.
  • Inston-Vee Vinder and the Qurunx are only alluded to instead of outright depicted.
