On the origins of Not-things[[edit source]]
The article says that the not-things originated in the Void (and I should know, seeing as I'm the one who wrote this part). However, I've literally just realised that the Black Void seems like an equally likely candidate for the not-thing "homeworld". The void beyond the edge of the universe in the episode appears to be black, and the Black Void is also said to be "a place where things that didn’t exist howled and raged against their nothingness". This would fit the nature of the not-things as non-existent entities that want to exist. Thoughts? Xbsv ☎ 14:00, 9 December 2023 (UTC)
Name of the Enemy[[edit source]]
I know we refer to these beings as "no-things" in the body of the article, but a new page on the official website has been posted today which titles them as "The No-things" - https://www.doctorwho.tv/characters/the-no-things
Are we going to keep our page titled "Not-thing", or change it in light of this? Seems we have another "Mechanoid"/"Mechonoid" type of situation on our hands. × Fractal • 20:27, 9 March 2024 (UTC)
