Von Hindenburg, (PROSE: Big Bang Generation [+]Loading...["Big Bang Generation (novel)"]) or Hindenberg, was a German general during World War I. He commanded the Germans at the battle of Tannenberg. (PROSE: Illegal Alien [+]Loading...["Illegal Alien (novel)"])
Later, he was president in 1934 alongside the Nazi Party. Some Germans suspected that he was near death, and that the Nazi Party were waiting for him to die. (PROSE: Big Bang Generation [+]Loading...["Big Bang Generation (novel)"]) Susan Foreman knew of him as one of the big political players in Germany during the 1930s. General Hindenberg is presumably intended to be a reference to the real life General Paul von Hindenburg. However, Illegal Alien spells his name wrong.
