Its main intent was to help newer users make quick-and-easy edits -- such as correcting typos. This wiki introduced the beta version of the VisualEditor (or VE) on 20 November 2013. We were one of the first communities to help test this editing pane. Its main intent was to help newer users make quick-and-easy edits -- such as correcting typos. The VE, however, does run into some problems when it discovers more complex editing situations here at Tardis. You are very much encouraged to try to learn how to use the source editor, as you will definitely encounter situations where the VE is inequal to the task of editing certain pages here.
