She told her boss, [[Klineman Halpen]], and was ordered to find them without alerting the representatives of the other companies. When the Ood rebelled, she followed the Doctor and Donna outside.

Solana, like most humans of the [[42nd century]], saw the Ood as nothing more than slaves and turned a blind eye to their harsh treatment. She was more than capable of putting on a welcoming and pleasant attitude when accompanying her company’s clients. She was very obedient and always tried to carry out Halpen’s orders to the letter.
 
While not sadistic towards the Ood in the same way as Halpen or Kess, Solana proved to, instead, be very cowardly; selfishly leaving the guards and the clients to die at the hands of the Ood to save her own life, though she was eventually murdered by an Ood.
