Prelude Warlock was, as the name suggested, a prelude to Warlock by Andrew Cartmel. It did not appear in the published novel.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
The Doctor visits Pietia Marichev in Russia and receives a sample of a strange mushroom from Pietia's grandson Anatoly. He succeeds in convincing Pietia that he and his grandson must leave.
Before they can leave, however, they are betrayed by Anatoly's girlfriend Ludmilla. The Marichevs are executed by soldiers and their house burned down.
