"Jackson (Rise of the Cybermen)" is a title based upon conjecture.

Check the behind the scenes section, the revision history and discussion page for additional comments on this article's title.

A technician was an employee of John Lumic in 2007.

Following Mr Crane's request for "track number 19", he obliged, playing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" over the sound of screaming victims to cyber-conversion.

He worked on Battersea Power Station's computers and drove an International Electromatics lorry for the purpose of transporting Cybermen to the country mansion where Jackie Tyler celebrated her birthday. (TV: Rise of the Cybermen [+]Loading...["Rise of the Cybermen (TV story)"])

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

He briefly appears in a deleted scene in The Age of Steel [+]Loading...["The Age of Steel (TV story)"], in which the technician's name is revealed to be Jackson. This name is also used in the shooting script for the episode.[1] However, he is only referred to as a "guard" in the previous episode's script.[2]
