Anvar was knew that Cole Jarnish and The War Master came from the Last Great Time War. He offered Cole some food and took him to his daughter Elidh. He didn't like Cole's interference and thought he was the cause of the problems with their sheep. He became ill after something fell from the sky. He later tried to stop the locals from harming Cole. He went with Cole to get supplies from The Master. Cole tried to stop his illness progressing using a makeshift survival suit, but he didn't like being inside it. He eventually died to the illness.
