President Dee McShane was an alternate version of Ace who, thanks to a combination of the Seventh Doctor's usage of the Krasi Reality Diffuser and his alliance with the Dark Citizen, had become president of Earth during the 2040s. She still retained her memories of her time travelling with the Doctor, recalling travelling with Hex, Sally Morgan and Lysandra Aristedes, though she did not recall the events surrounding Hex's death and rebirth as Hector Thomas.
She was firmly focused on her job, believing that she and the Doctor (who she regularly contacted) were doing good.
