- Coincidentally, the TV story It Takes You Away features the Solitract, a sentient universe which took the shape of a frog.
- Although the specific lore surrounding the Council of Frogs in The Crew of the Copper-Colored Cupids etc. belongs to Aristide Twain, the name "Council of Frogs" is a public domain concept free to use by anyone. One example is that of a 19th century caricature of the French Republican Council depicted as frogs with Napoléon's army as crocodiles.[1] Another example is a 2023 graphic novel by writer Matt Emmons about an adventurous frog, called The Council of Frogs.[2]
