Yearling was the first adventure seed exclusively published in Cubicle Seven's original Doctor Who Roleplaying Game on 30 November 2009.[1]

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Doctor and his companions arrive in a village on the planet Rumax, a place inhabited solely by children. The inhabitants fear the Vortigan, a lion-shaped, energy-based creature that claims anybody over the age of 18 and feeds on their adult life energy. The Doctor and his companions decide to confront the creature in its lair, a great metal tower. With the help of the children they navigate through a landscape teeming with feral beasts. At the tower itself, events eventually unfold that inadvertently release thousands of Vortigans from stasis, flying out from the planet and posing a galaxy-wide threat.
