Can You Hear Me? was the seventeenth adventure in The Thirteenth Doctor Sourcebook, adapted from the TV story of the same name.
Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]
The plot follows the television story, with variance depending on how it is played. Advice is given on how to handle the mental health aspects of the story, and how to do something meaningful with the backgrounds of the adventurers.
Further Adventures[[edit] | [edit source]]
In "The Frightmare Channel", a cult of people from the crashing planets who worshipped Zellin and Rakaya try to help them escape now that they are both trapped. The cult releases a virtual reality upgrade called Frightmare to the peoples of Sayer's Drift which turns some VR users into psychic dreaming conduits to the gods, much as Zellin's fingers functioned. The adventurers must enter virtual reality and free the trapped dreamers before the gods escape.
In "Sweet Dreams", Oneir and Fantasia, two dream Eternals who are counterparts to the two nightmare Eternals, react to the damage done and put every human on Earth into a pleasant sleep. The adventurers must fight the urge to sleep in order to convince the Eternals to restore suffering and agency to humankind.
