All of our years related to the new series say that the season takes place a year after it airs. However, the 2010 series takes place in 2010, so Season 4 can't take place in 2010, so it must be in 2009. Plus, the End of Time has the doctor tell Rose that 2005 will be a great year for her, meaning she will first meet the Doctor. What should we do about this? --Edward Rankin (talk) 23:29, July 30, 2010 (UTC)

This did apply until the specials, which were shoved into 2009 along with Doctor Who series 4, Torchwood series 2 and 3, and The Sarah Jane Adventures series 2 & 3. It was a bad year for Earth in that year, one might say. Then in 2010, series 5 happens (June 2010) along with The Sarah Jane Adventures series 4 probably in late 2010.
Torchwood series 4 most likely will take place in early 2011 or late 2010. Bt let's just pray that everything in 2009 was "cracked" so we can throw the continuity errors out the window. An obscene amount of invasions in 12 months. We had a load of Rift activity, Sleeper Agents and an alien wedding crasher, London getting inavded left and right, Earth being moved, wormholes in London and the planet almost being destroyed (again, that wasn't long), a few smaller scae invasions and posssion everywhere, every child in the world getting possesed and aliens coming from the sky, more smaller scale invasions, and then a great big planet appearing in the sky at Christmas and everything changing. No wonder I hated 2009. :p

:I just realized something; the End of Time says that Rose met the Doctor in 2005. But Rose was accidently returned home in 2006, meaning Seaon 2 takes place in 2007, but Martha met the Doctor in 2007 (The Family of Blood proves it), even though the Doctor met Donna in the Christmas of Season 2, and it it implied Martha met the Doctor after he met Donna. --Edward Rankin (talk) 12:39, July 31, 2010 (UTC)

I just realized something; the End of Time says that Rose met the Doctor in 2005.
So what should we do about this? --Edward Rankin (talk) 00:30, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
Read through the years of 2005 - 2010 first I think. There's been several conversations relating to this, see the (archived) topic Forum:Timeline Clarification Questions for some of it. --Tangerineduel 15:18, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
It doesn't appear that they got their questions answered. --Edward Rankin (talk) 19:21, August 10, 2010 (UTC)
I seem to recall from the conversation that they did, just not the answer they wanted.
It just means that there's a large amount of stuff going on during certain years. --Tangerineduel 14:32, August 12, 2010 (UTC)
