Koenig was an SS lieutenant who was the leader of a group of Nazi soldiers that landed on the English coast on 7 June 1941.
Koenig had acquired a piece of Chronosteel and intended to use it as the main component of a device that would block out British radio signals, allowing the German ships to attack without being detected. His plan was foiled by George Woods and the time travelling Clyde Langer, who retrieved the Chronosteel object and rang the local church's bell, forcing him and his men to retreat, before the locals responded. Koenig and his soldiers were captured and imprisoned by the British Home Guard. (TV: Lost in Time)
