The Aeolians were a species that communicated with song.

Biology[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Aeolians were one-eyed, blue-skinned creatures with loud and high-pitched mating calls. They were masters of amplification and used this to call their mates; their songs were powerful enough to pulverise distant stars. When low on energy, they could initiate a self-replicating feedback loop which derived its power from harvesting gravity. This could destroy an Earth-sized planet. The Aeolians seemed to speak in song. They could live for millennia, as the Aeolian in 2050 was alive during the Centaurian Catastrophe. (TV: Aeolian)

Technology[[edit] | [edit source]]

Aeolians had a form of space travel which let them travel ten thousand light-years in minutes. (TV: Aeolian)

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

A drawing of an Aeolian from an Anubian book. (TV: Curse of Anubis)

As shown in the Anubian Book of Deliverance, the Anubians attacked the Aeolians. (TV: Curse of Anubis)

The Aeolians were driven to near-extinction in the Centaurian Catastrophe of the 11th century. At least two, a male and a female, survived.

The female Aeolian came to Earth in 2050 and sent out sound to attract her lost mate. This caused massive storms across the United Kingdom. Her mate sent a signal from the Orpheus constellation, but she had to continue so he could recognise her. Before she could finish, she was discovered by Drake and his CCPC officers, who tried to apprehend her by stunning her. When they tried to kill her, K9 threatened them and they backed down. Starkey played a new tune which brought her mate to Earth. Reunited, they left Earth after thanking Starkey. (TV: Aeolian)
