While Blossom was shooting a scene with Darcy Tranton under the direction of Steinberger P. Green, the filming was interrupted by the First Doctor, Steven Taylor and Sara Kingdom, who thought the performance was real — with Steven punching Tranton in the face and giving him a black eye.

Green was impressed by Steven's displayed physicality, and wanted him to replace the injured Tranton. This upset Blossom, who burst into tears — thinking she herself was going to be replaced by Sara. (TV: The Daleks' Master Plan)
