The messenger was a member of the Greek army during the Trojan War in circa 1200 BC.
While Odysseus was speaking with the First Doctor and Steven Taylor, the messenger entered his tent to report that Paris was challenging Achilles to a duel and Agamemnon wished Odysseus to fight him.
