John was the senior vice-president of Green Room Entertainment, the company which created the virtual reality detention facilities. He worked with the Department to use the last Etydion to broadcast a telepathic signal which would take control of the children who were playing the Little Green Men game. When it was revealed that the children were also mutating into Etydions in 2050, John blackmailed Thorne, asking for fifty million credits to end the transmission. However, his attempts to do so failed as the Etydion was no longer under his control. Thorne told John that he would be sent to prison. (TV: The Custodians)
