==Summary==
The Doctor, Romana and K9 land on a planet called that K9 explains is in space region 9 zero. It has a rocky terrain, a non-toxic atmosphere and is home to a race of extremely primitive humanoids. the Doctor and Romana leave the TARDIS and enter a blizzard of snow. Romana says that she hears a scream but the Doctor explains it was probably just the wind. However, when they are heading back to the TARDIS the screams are heard again, so they start heading towards the sound. The sound leads them to a cavern and once inside they realise that the cavern is made out of the dead bodies of giant humanoids. They see at the base of the cave some vaguely humanoid figures. When they go to help them, they are attcked by a giant beast that looks similar to an ape. The Doctor sneaks back to the Tardis and grabs a gun that will imobilise the beast. He ends up killing it instead, saying it didnt seem like the answer, but the gun's stun setting had no effects on the beast. The Doctor then explains to Romana that it is best to let the people of Xoboi go on with their evolution without  interference. However the Doctor is still unsettled by what will happen to the people and thinks he might come back some day to check on their evolution.

Terror on Xaboi was a comic story published in Doctor Who Annual 1980. It featured the Fourth Doctor, Romana I and K9 Mark II.

Summary[[edit] | [edit source]]

The Fourth Doctor, Romana I and K9 Mark II land on a planet called Xaboi. K9 explains it is in space region 9 zero, has a rocky terrain, a non-toxic atmosphere and is home to a race of extremely primitive humanoids. The Doctor and Romana exit the Doctor's TARDIS into a blizzard. Romana says that she hears a scream, but the Doctor says it was probably just the wind.

When they head back to the TARDIS, they hear the screams again, and start heading towards the sound. This leads them to a cavern. Once inside, they realise the cavern is made out of the dead bodies of giant humanoids. They see at the base of the cave some vaguely humanoid figures. When they go to help them, they are attacked by a giant beast which looks like an ape. The Doctor sneaks back to the TARDIS and grabs a gun that will immobilise the beast. He ends up killing it instead.

The Doctor say it didn't seem like the answer, but the gun's stun setting had no effects on the beast. He explains to Romana that it is best to let the people of Xoboi go on with their evolution without interference. The Doctor is still unsettled by what will happen to the people and thinks he might come back some day to check on their progress.
