:The Youtube link is courtesy of Big Finish's own YouTube channel, where they posted it freely with embedding enabled. I think so long as the video's owners have presented it freely to the public, we're not harming them by embedding it here; if BF chooses to take down or restrict the YouTube video themselves, only then should we remove it from this article. :It's perhaps also worth noting that this story is not getting a standalone DVD release. ''Dead and Buried'' is just one of the items included on a bonus DVD given to purchasers of a box set of a season of Bernice audios.[http://www.bigfinish.com/news/Bernice-Summerfield-is-Back!-All-New-Box-Sets] I do not imagine it likely the continued free availability of ''Dead and Buried'' online would affect sales of that set; however brilliant it may be, no customers are buying that entire set ''just'' to see ''Dead and Buried.'' DVD release announced: time to remove the YouTube link?[[edit source]]
With Big Finish announcing a DVD release of Dead and Buried, I think we may need to remove the link to the YouTube video. Thoughts? 68.146.64.9 14:15, April 7, 2011 (UTC)
- The Youtube link is courtesy of Big Finish's own YouTube channel, where they posted it freely with embedding enabled. This is not a case of someone else ripping BF's work to YouTube; they posted it themselves and as such it falls within Tardis:Video policy. I think so long as the video's owners have presented it freely to the public, we're not harming them by embedding it here; if BF chooses to take down or restrict the YouTube video themselves, only then should we remove it from this article. - I agree, as long as Big Finish allow their video to be viewed on YouTube, then we should be free to use it on this article. If things change when the DVD is released then the matter should be addressed then. --Revan\Talk 11:53, April 8, 2011 (UTC)
- It's perhaps also worth noting that this story is not getting a standalone DVD release. Dead and Buried is just one of the items included on a bonus DVD given to purchasers of a box set of a season of Bernice audios.[1] I do not imagine it likely the continued free availability of Dead and Buried online would affect sales of that set; however brilliant it may be, no customers are buying that entire set just to see Dead and Buried.
