Will Stampe (7 October 1920-1 September 1981[1]) played the first man in the Doctor Who television story The Massacre.

Stampe had eighty television and film credits, and is most famous for playing the semi-regular role of Fred the Barman in sixteen episodes of Till Death Do Us Part. He also had guest roles on television shows such as Armchair Theatre, Taxi!, Dixon of Dock Green, Mogul, Softly Softly, Z-Cars and Play for Today.
