When [[Ian Chesterton]] and [[Larry Madison]] dived into the shack where Ashton was to get away from the [[Slyther (The Dalek Invasion of Earth)|Slyther]] outside, he threatened them with a gun. He was unsympathetic to their plight, and refused to take Ian with him to [[London]] without any payment.
 
Ashton was about to force Ian and Larry back outside to face the Slyther when [[Wells (The Dalek Invasion of Earth)|Wells]] arrived just in time, giving him some [[jewellery]] to pay for the food smuggled in and also to smuggle Ian out.

Ashton was a 22nd century black marketeer.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Ashton smuggled food and people in and out of the Daleks' Bedfordshire mine during their invasion and occupation of Earth.

When Ian Chesterton and Larry Madison dived into the shack where Ashton was to get away from the Slyther outside, he threatened them with a gun. He was unsympathetic to their plight, and refused to take Ian with him to London without any payment.

Ashton was about to force Ian and Larry back outside to face the Slyther when Wells arrived just in time, giving him some jewellery to pay for the food smuggled in and also to smuggle Ian out.

Ashton agreed, but was killed when the Slyther suddenly broke through the shack window and attacked him. (TV: The Dalek Invasion of Earth)
