So you're saying that the TARDIS is a she, and it impregnated Amy? I'm not entirely sure how that is possible, as even though the Doctor does refer to the TARDIS being alive, at most it is just an artificial intelligence. K9 even described it as stupid. Since River was in Stormcage as an adult in the 51st/52nd century, that means that she wasn't arrested for killing a good man as a child in 2011.Icecreamdif 03:39, May 4, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I was kind of joking when I said the TARDIS impregnated Amy. I still think the TARDIS has something to do with who River is though. FixtheFernback 04:09, May 4, 2011 (UTC)
River says that her first meeting with the Doctor hasn't happenned for her yet, and she talks about being much younger and the Doctor knowing everything about her to Rory in The Impossible Astronaut. If River was the TARDIS, than they both first met in the same order, on Gallifrey, some time before An Unearthly Child. I do, however, think that there are rumors that the Doctor's wife, from the episode after next, has something to do with the TARDIS.Icecreamdif 13:31, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Alright, so here's a theory I came up with on the identity of the mysterious River Song. Who does The Doctor love most in the world? Answer: The TARDIS. And we've known for years that it's a living being. Plus, he's definitely referred to it as 'she' on several occasions.

So, does this mean River Song is a living personification of the the TARDIS? Maybe, but I've got another idea. Amy's possible pregnancy and the heavy inclusion of the unknown little girl in the latest episode are leading many people to belive that this girl could either be Amy's future daughter, or a young River Song. I think it could be both. Amy was worried about her travels on the TARDIS having an effect on her child. Maybe it was because the baby was concieved in the TARDIS or maybe she's gotten pregnant from the TARDIS, but it's possible that it left her child with the ability to regenerate. If you've been listening to what Steven Moffat has been saying, River's true identity has to do with someone we've known for a long time. The TARDIS has been The Doctor's constant companion since day one. Plus if it did turn out to be a young River in that space suit, then she fulfilled the prophecy on that beach when she killed "a good man."

Anyway, it's a theory like I said, but I think it's a rather clever one and I thought I'd share it. I'll be upset if I turn out to be right though, it'd be like I spoiled it for myself.

The TARDIS is a she, and it impregnated Kamelion--who was male, and the ghost of a destroyed robot. And their child looked human enough to take Peri's place on Earth. So, the idea of the TARDIS impregnating Amy may be crazy, but too crazy for the Whoniverse? No such thing. (Especially given the EDAs. "Remember when we traveled the universe in a stroppy redhead?"
