She ran through Door 40, letting it close behind her, and she raced over to the control panel. Her worries were confirmed when the computer told her that it had opened and closed the airlock. When Scooti asked if someone went out, it confirmed this, but it didn't know who went out and that no space suit had been taken. Curious, Scooti walked down the hall to look through the view port. There she saw Toby, possessed by [[the Beast]], standing outside, unprotected in the [[vacuum]] of space. Scooti's eyes widen in shock at this. Toby then turns around and sees her and then gives her a menacing smile. Scooti, in complete shock, mutter how this is impossible.  However, Toby cuts her off.  He begins motioning her towards him by waving his finger.. Now caught in his embrace, Scooti raised her arm towards him, helpless to refuse. Her eyes begin to water as if about to cry. This continues for a moment, before her eyes break away and stares at her arm. Her arm then drops. With force in her voice, Scooti pleads for Toby to stop, with tears still in her eyes. Toby then loses patience with Scooti, and his smile disappears. He then clenches his hand and telekinetically pulls at the window. Soon the sounds of breaking glass fill the cooridor. A still shaken Scooti, scans the viewscreen desperately looking for the source. Then a large crack appears on the glass. Scooti's worries quickly turn to fear.  The young woman gasps in shock and horror, realizing Toby means to kill her. She then rushes for Door 40, yelling for it to open as she goes. However, by the time she reaches it, the door still hasn't opened. Scooti then frantically yells again for it to open, but it refuses her orders. Meanwhile, the cracks continued to widen. Her yells turned to shrieks of terror as the door continued to refuse to open. Fear became visible in her eyes. She screamed and tugged at the door in a desperate attempt to save herself. However, Toby then unclenched his fist. The pressure shattered the viewport. Air rushed out of the base. Scooti was torn away from the door and blown down the hall, screaming, in the ensuing explosive decompression. Scooti was soon sucked out the window into the inhospitabile environoment of Krop Tor where she died.

Scootori Manista, also called Scooti, was a trainee maintenance officer who was part of the Walker Expedition posted on Sanctuary Base 6 in 4221.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

Born circa 4201, Scooti joined the Walker Expedition. She survived the landing on Krop Tor, and was present for Sanctuary Base 6 being established.

Scooti was in the control room, preparing for the quake, when the Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler arrived in 4221. Afterwards, she was at the meeting to update the pair on the situation of their mission, and, along with Danny, explained who the Ood were to Rose.

Later, Scooti went into Toby Zed's room to drop off his expenditure, but he wasn't there. While she was placing the paperwork on his desk, she heard the airlock open. She queried the computer who could have opened the airlock when no spacesuits were taken. Scooti saw the Beast-possessed Toby outside the window in the vacuum calling for her. Helpless, Scooti raised her hand towards him. However, she eventually resisted him, and pleaded with him to stop. Angered by her refusal, the Beast clenched Toby’s fist, and the glass began to break. Upon realising this, Scooti gasped and tried to escape through the door. However, the door remained sealed despite her pleas, and soon after, Toby shattered the glass, and the pressure broke. Air began rushing out of the base and Scooti was torn away from the door by the rushing air and was sucked into space screaming. Her dead body was later discovered by the Tenth Doctor and the rest of the crew floating within the vacuum above the base and it eventually drifted into and was destroyed by the blackhole.
