Instructions for {{Torchwood discontinuity}}
This template is for the maintenance of the pages which branch off from Theory:Torchwood television discontinuity and plot holes. It will only work properly on that page, and the television story page to which it is related.
  • On the forum page: It sets forth some guidelines of how the new section is to be used. It contains some automatic script which links to the page of the article in mainspace having to do with that article. So no matter what page it's on, it will link to the right article. It even takes into account the parentheticals sometimes attached to TV story names. So it will link properly to Reset (TV story) and to the unmodified Everything Changes. It should be placed at the very top of the forum page.
  • On the story page: It puts up a note, linking back to the forum page, to make discussion of the episode easier. It should be placed directly under the header, "Production errors"

Sample output

This template displays very differently depending on the page on which it is placed. For examples, see Everything Changes#Production errors and Theory:Torchwood television discontinuity and plot holes/Everything Changes.
