George was a British soldier in the 1940s.
While at the Kiss the Boys Goodbye Dance in the Ritz in Cardiff on 20 January 1941, George paid for Captain Jack Harkness and Toshiko Sato's drinks, requesting that the latter dance with him. After some time, Jack intervened, pulling Toshiko away. George took offence at this and challenged Jack to a fight. They briefly exchanged blows before the real Captain Jack Harkness pulled them apart and had George apologise to them both. (TV: Captain Jack Harkness)
