Paul Erickson (22 November 1920-27 October 1991[1]) wrote the Doctor Who television story The Ark (with Lesley Scott); and its novelisation, for which he expanded upon the original televised version by adding within its technology- and budget-free constraints a wealth of extra material never seen on-screen.
