For example a terrified George was able to reach out to the Doctor from the other side of several Galaxies. The Tenza were able to create their own personal worlds in a small space and in George's case this world was made as a form of storage space for his various fears. One such fear manifested it self in living psychic constructs that took the form of walking Peg Dolls that fed on the child's fear's to grow in strength. While their very presence terrified George they also seemed to protect him in their own way; they would abduct anyone who threatened/scared George or his surrogate family. They were also temporarily stopped when George entered their world but threatened him when they felt his fear of being taken from his parents. By 2003, however, a Tenza came to Earth and assimilated itself into Alex and Claire's "nest", and they named him George. He was "born" in either January (TV: Night Terrors) or on 11 February.
