The Chief Steward was an officer on board the Titanic. He, along with numerous other individuals, had survived the meteor strike and proceeded to rally the passengers. When he later attempted to assess the situation, he opened a bulkhead, and, not realising it had been struck by a meteoroid, was promptly sucked into space and killed shortly after.
