Usage
To use, simply type:
{{prefix|PREFIX}}
It is important that the prefix be given in ALL CAPS.
This notation should be placed at the top of the page, directly underneath the {{real world}} template. There are some cases where it may be more appropriate to place the template at the top of sections, but these are the exceptions rather than the rule.
It should only be used on pages about story ranges, like BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures, or programmes, like The Sarah Jane Adventures.

The BBC Eighth Doctor Adventures was a range of novels which . . .
Future development
Ultimately, this should appear on every story page, to make it crystal clear which prefix should be used for which story. However, in order for that to happen, the long-promised infobox CSS code will have to be implemented. Without that, spacing between the prefix element and the infobox element won't be easily controllable. In particular, all infoboxes just need to have a margin-top value of "auto" for things to sit nicely on the page.
