Daphne Oxenford (31 October 1919-21 December 2012[1]) played the Archivist in the Doctor Who television story Dragonfire. Her performance as the elderly Agatha Christie, which she filmed for The Unicorn and the Wasp, was ultimately cut from the finished version, as the scene (according to Russell T Davies) foreshadowed the drama of the story.[source needed]
