The Ed Sullivan Show

The Ed Sullivan Show was a show filmed from TV studios in New York City. In 1956, Elvis Presley performed "Hound Dog" on one of the shows which received numerous complaints. The Tenth Doctor attempted to take Rose Tyler to see that show but ended up instead in London on 1 June 1953. (TV: The Idiot's Lantern)
