The Vantarialis was a spacecraft that had been under the command of a space pirate known as the Captain. According to him, Vantarialis was "the greatest raiding crusier ever built, and [he] built it", with technology "indistinguishable from magic".

The Vantarialis was destroyed when it crashed on Zanak. There were few survivors, among them was the Captain. Although the Captain survived the crash, he was injured to the point of requiring cybernetic implants.
