Malcolm Sillett was the manager of Vegpro and assistant to Professor Sarric. On the Professor's orders, he attempted to eliminate the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith to prevent their investigations into Vegpro. At first he did not believe the Doctor's claims about the Professor's alien nature, but he became suspicious and investigated on his own, discovering the truth.
