Have you noticed this?[[edit source]]
Hmmmmmmmmmm, this is very interesting. Donna's back in the first episode, Martha mid-way series, Captain Jack sometime and Rose sometime as well. 4 companions, meaning theres 5 in the TARDIS crew. What were they thinking? The evil dudeArnie 16:41, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- Possibly setting something up for the specials they're doing after season 4? That or they're going to band together and form Time Vortex Sentai TARDISranger to fight evil space aliens across the galaxy in the TARDIS Megazord. --Colleyd 18:08, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Woof
- Well, this way they won't feel too bad if they start killing off companions. "Your script kills off Donna? That's all right, we still have 3 companions to use."
- That or they are looking for more ways to have spin-offs. -<Azes13 18:13, 29 November 2007 (UTC)>-
I hardly belive of regenaration of the Doctor. That will not explain why the show has been put back a year, because David Tennant(who plays as Tenth Doctor) goes to the Royal Shakespeare Company for a year.
Unbelievable Rumours[[edit source]]
Most of the rumours is a bunch of bull. First of all, Julian Bleach wouldn't play Davros because he just played the Ghostmaker in From Out of the Rain. Second, if Daleks have been confirmed to return, why the plural on Daleks? We all know Caan is the last left. Cybermen in Silence in the Library? They are stuck in the Void, which has been sealed. Thats also another point to ask; how does Rose escape the parallel universe? The evil dudeArnie 10:15, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
- People just don't think about speculation some times. Remember the rumour that Adam Mitchell would appear in Torchwood - he was left in 2012 people. The thing is, if we are having a rumours section, then we have to put in rumours into it - so the only way to lose them is to lose the rumours section. Also, it has been confirmed by the BBC that Rose will appear - so no doubt the episode(s) will explain where she came from. Jack's the man - 11:57, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
- The rumours section should not exist.
- The only instance when it should is if you can cite a source and reference it in the manner of a source see The Dark Dimension page for an example of a referenced page.
- The articles should deal in facts, not random rumours which aside from one of the indented bullet points don't appear to have any proof that they're anything other than fiction. --Tangerineduel 12:09, 22 March 2008 (UTC)
i have just seen this discussion and i think there are two good reasons to have a rumour section: 1. the roumor section keeps people from adding the same rumour over and over again as facts somewhere else. 2. if i have heard/read a rumour it is good to be able to doublecheck it here. and to see the fact, that what i heard is just a rumour. Just my opinion -- Q1712 18:07, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
"Main" cast[[edit source]]
Can Jack Harkness onward really be considered main cast? They only appear in the finale which can effectively make annyone who appears in the final episode part of the main cast. Bluesilver 11:18, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
- If they're in the opening credits, then yes. Jackie Tyler, though? Was she ever in the opening credits? Therequiembellishere 05:51, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, neither was mickey but i can see where that is coming from since he was a companion. Bluesilver 15:43, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- I started the Main cast for companions and cast in most stories of that season (such as The Master in Season 8). It really should only contain the Main cast and not all the returning characters in the series. Some may only be breif cameos. Jack's the man - 19:29, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
- As a compramise, I've put Jack onwards in Guest cast because they are only in one stoy. Jack's the man - 14:27, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- He was credited in the opening sequence, making his status as main cast (albeit, one that should be listed under "Secondary Cast" indisputable. --Golden Monkey 23:08, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Cast[[edit source]]
I removed everyone who wasn't credited as starring at some point or were recurring characters. River Song and Jenny are so far no different than any other guest star, such as Agatha Christie or Sky Silvestry or Ood Sigma, and shouldn't be considered "secondary cast" yet. --Golden Monkey 23:06, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Torchwood[[edit source]]
John Barrowman has stated that he has signed up for a series 4 of Torchwood, I think we should maybe make a page for this, though there won't be much to put in it yet. I'm A Hydroponic Tomato! Bigredrabbit 05:30, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
- Whats that got to do with Doctor Who --Catkind121 09:21, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
Time Crash[[edit source]]
I'm not sure where the whole idea of Time Crash not being canoncial came from. And to just say "some people" is useless - that could be said of every televised story up to and including Genesis of the Daleks. Moffat declared it canon in DWM. It's canon. 23skidoo 13:55, December 13, 2009 (UTC)
50th episode?[[edit source]]
This article lists "The Unicorn and the Wasp", but my counts say that "Silence in the Library" is the 50th. (My episode count confirms "The Stolen Earth" as 750, so it matches up otherwise.) --Cap'n Calhoun 05:19, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
- Addendum: BBC Fact File cites "Silence in the Library" as well. Don't know if this affects the count for "The Stolen Earth" on whateve system was used here, but, again, that one matches my count. --Cap'n Calhoun 05:25, October 7, 2010 (UTC)
The Next Doctor[[edit source]]
It really shouldn't be part of Series 4; it's the first of the Specials season. Voyage of the Damned is the Series 4 Christmas Special, not The Next Doctor, too. D0ct0r11 13:06, June 8, 2011 (UTC)
Three-part finale?[[edit source]]
Could it be a three-part finale? It being Turn Left / The Stolen Earth / Journey's End? Because Turn Left ended with a cliffhanger, and the following episode seemed to start straight after it, I have this proven when the Tenth Doctor says "It's fine, everything's fine". Three-part finale or two-part? BroadcastCorp (talk | contribs) 12:54, August 23, 2011 (UTC)
- The answer's multiple choice! Either it confuses RTD or the production team were deliberately creating something for fans to argue about. Timrollpickering talk to me 03:09, December 6, 2011 (UTC)
