On the day before Vusovius erupted she saw her daughter have a vision into the future looking into a prophency. This Prophency was in fact the future that [[Pyrovile]] had planed. But she told her children to worship the gods and belief them. In 79 AD her huspand bought a [[Tardis|Blue Box]]. He claimed that it was modarn art but it was realy The Doctors Tarids. Later that day the doctor arrived at her home cliaming that the blue box was his. But he was followed by [[Lusius Petrus Dextrus]] a man that was in charged of the future of [[Pompeii]]. She saw part of an ancient Pyrovile spacecraft tool which she and her family thought were plans for future buildings. Later that day after her son and the doctor had left to go to Lusius's house he unleashed a rock monster summoned by Pyrovile which would attack her family and kill a man. An the day of the eruption she and her family huddled up together because they were scared and ash fell on them. Donna while in the Tardis asked the Doctor to go and save them and so he did just as the volcano erupted. She and her family plus the doctor and Donna watched from afar on a hill. Six Months later she was happily living in [[Rome]] and thankfull to the doctor.

Metella, wife of Lobus Caecilius and mother of Quintus and Evelina, was a woman who lived in Pompeii in 79. She was the most religiously devout of her family: she urged her son to pray to their household gods, and encouraged her daughter's psychic gift as a gift from the gods.

With the rest of her family, Metella was rescued from Pompeii shortly before the city was buried under the ashes of Mount Vesuvius' explosion. By early 80, her family and she were living in Rome. Metella, religious as ever, was worshipping a new set of household gods: the Tenth Doctor and Donna. (TV: The Fires of Pompeii)
