She breathed in some of [[Pyrovile|Pyrovile's]] dust and had a link to Pyrovile. When [[Lucius Petrus Dextrus]] came round to her house she had a vision of the new Pyrovile empire. She also revealed the truth of [[Tenth Doctor|The Doctor's]] and [[Donna Noble|Donna's]] lives.she commented on the doctor by saying that his name was written across the stars, and in the [[Medusa Cascade]]. She was going to be accepted into the [[Sibylline Sisterhood]]. She and her family were huddled together as ash and rock rained down on them but while The Doctor and Donna were in the [[Tardis]] Donna told him to go back and save the family, so they went back and dropped them off at a nearby hill where she and her family looked down at Pompeii as it was consumed by Volcanic ash. The Doctor told her that the link with Pyrovile had been broken, so that she was no longer psychic. Evelina, daughter of marble merchant Lobus Caecilius and his wife, Metella, was a young Roman woman living in Pompeii on the eve of its destruction in August 79.

Evelina showed some precognitive abilities, and so was promised to the Sibylline Sisterhood, a local cult of oracles influenced by the alien Pyroviles, as a consecrated priestess.

Like her parents and brother Quintus, Evelina was spared from Pompeii's destruction by the Tenth Doctor's timely intervention.
