Long time fan here. Love to be helping out.

Early Life[[edit] | [edit source]]

I grew up in Rhode Island. One day, my aunt Nina came running over to my house when I was 8 years old. She told me that there was a TV show on that she knew I would love. I ran over to her place and watched it. It was my first Doctor Who episode, 'Pyramids of Mars'. I developed a crush on Sarah Jane Smith, and became hooked on the series. I was devastated when Sarah left in The Hand of Fear, an episode which terrified my younger cousin Michael. He did not like Eldrads hand. I resented Louise Jameson for taking over as the Doctors companion and awaited the day that Elisabeth Sladen would return. I evolved into a better understanding of the series, and watched companions come and go, as well as overcoming the shock when Tom Baker regenerated. I joined the Doctor Who fan club DWAS, and even submitted a letter of concern regarding Sarah Jane Smith's lost handbag in 'The Five Doctors', which was published in an issue. I began collecting Target Novelizations of the Doctor Who episodes, which in return allowed me to get an "A" in my English classes, as I had done several book reports and even extra credit reports on the books. My 5th Grade teacher was proud of me. In total I would have read over 500 of the novels to date. I attended my first Doctor Who convention at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts, where I shared an elevator ride with Sarah Sutton, who portrayed Nyssa. There was also a Tractator in attendance. My father bought me a photo of Louise Jameson, and a 3-D view master reel of Full Circle. Later, I would begin collecting the Dapol action figures and eventually meet Tom Baker. The series inspired me at 13 years old to write my own science fiction series which I continued with until I was 21. My friends and family loved the stories and its life like characters, which caught the eye of a journalist in Newport, R.I. I dropped the series after a large section of the stories I wrote, went missing. SO if you are out there Linda Reynolds, please return them.

Present[[edit] | [edit source]]

I now live in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I collect the Character Options Doctor Who figures, and so far have them all except for the tweaked wave. I sold my entire DW novel range, as well as the entire VHS Tape series, that had been released from back in the day. I now collect the series on DVD. I am not a fan of the new series novels as they seem written for kids. David Tennant is now my favorite Doctor, I never thought anyone could replace Tom Baker, whom will always hold a special place for me. I absolutely love Catherine Tate as Donna Noble.
