Bannakaffalatta was a cyborg Zocci aboard the Titanic. He had an accident sometime ago, as a result of which he underwent conversion into a cyborg, for which he experienced some shame. Bannakaffalatta disapproved of shortened versions of his name.
Onboard the Titanic he met the Doctor and briefly strolled around London on Christmas Eve on a tour led by Bayldon Copper. As Bannakaffalatta was small he was able to get through spaces others couldn't. He revealed his cybernetics to Astrid, to whom he took a fancy and asked on a date. (She accepted.)
