Information

Captain Jack's Monster Files are a series of online videos that tell the viewer about the alien from stories from Series 4. The information is given by Captain Jack Harkness, who tells the viewer facts, figures and top secret information about the aliens.

Produced and directed by Ian Smith [1] in BBC Wales and written by Justin Richards [2]

Notes

Extra files

During two parters Extra files about old monsters are released for the first part as the monsters full story is kept secret until the complete story has been broadcast. The Slitheen were used for The Sontaran Stratagem, and the Judoon for Silence in the Library.

Canon

Rose Tyler momentarily appears during the Hath file. This is the same clip of her seen on the TARDIS scanner in The Poison Sky and therefore regarded as a non-canonical appearance due to them being the same clips unless otherwise proved possible that the same video can be broadcast at different places.
